IT'S TIME FOR PAINT YOUR PET!

(please read all info below for this special class)

*****A separate registration is required for each painter* -This helps Amanda keep track of pets & owners and which canvas size you select.

*ages 10-15 are welcome to paint alongside an accompanying painting adult per every 2 kids. Ages 16+ may attend class unaccompanied.

Every seat in class downstairs must be a registered painter. as we have limited space per class and like to keep focus on the class in the space. Additional guests may have dinner & drinks in the upstairs restaurant section of Norse if they would like to enjoy the great options Norse has to offer. Parents are not permitted to sign up their kids and sit on the side during this class, each attendee in class must be participating as a painting student. Two painters are permitted to work on one canvas on an upgraded size selection of 18"x24" or 20" x 20" only. Please specify if painting together in the who would you like to sit with box below.

Description:

Amanda will be teaching students as a class step by step how to paint their very own pet portraits! No experience required. You have creative freedom to make it as realistic or as pop-art style as you would like within our 3 hour session. Amanda and her assistants will be able to help you here and there but this will be mainly your own masterpiece you work on that you are able to take home and love forever!

You will arrive to this class to find your pet sketched onto your canvas and ready to paint! Photo references MUST be sent in ahead of time no later than 3 days before the class date.

Please e-mail or text Amanda 1-3 images of your One (1) pet you would like to paint in this class along with the message below, so that she can pre sketch it for you onto the canvas of your choice.

*no pet photo/info is needed if you are simply continuing to work on a painting from a previous class and not adding another pet in.

Send in 1-3 High resolution photos of your pet in good lighting that Amanda can use to pre-sketch onto your canvas. If you need help choosing the best image for your painting, please include your choices in the message and Amanda can help guide you.

- One (1) pet can be sketched per class for you to work on.

* If you would like multiple pets on the same canvas, you can sign up for additional future classes to add your pets in one by one. A larger canvas size is required for multiple pets, please consider this when choosing your canvas size below. Due to the 3-hour timeframe it is not possible for Amanda to lead you through multiple pets in one class session. If additional time is needed, you are more than welcome to continue your painting in a future Paint Your Pet class! These Paint Your Pet classes will be offered by Amanda at least once every few months at Norse Brewing Company.

Please specify your canvas size, color scheme, who you are sitting with and how you will be sending the image of your pet at the bottom of this page.

Make sure to register any additional painters in your group in a separate registration.

Additional Notes:

*You are also always welcome to sign up for this class again in the future if you need more time to work on your painting. You are welcome to bring in a pet portrait you have already started in a past class and continue to work on it with help from Amanda's demonstrations and guidance. This is a great way to get assistance on completing the piece if you need additional time to work on it after your first class or to add another pet to your canvas. Everyone works at their own pace, this will take the pressure off if you need a little more time or want to change a thing or two after class. Amanda can pre sketch your second pet for you. Paint Your Pet will be held once every few months.

supplies are included in your ticket price as follows:

An 11"x14" or 12"x12" Stretched Cotton Canvas to paint on with Acrylic Paint to take home and keep forever!

Paint Brushes, Artist Easel, Apron, Water Cup & Mixing Surfaces to use along with Set up & Clean up.

Food, Cocktails, Beer and Wine (21+) will be available for purchase at this event from Norse Brewing Company. (No outside food or drinks will be permitted)

Class time will be approximately 2-3 hours long, please be off the clock for maximum relaxation and creative expression. We want you to leave with a painting you will proudly display in your home or even give as a gift!

*Please arrive at 5:30-6pm Friendly reminder to please arrive as close to 6PM as possible to allow time to get settled, put on an apron, grab some "liquid courage” & food before we dive into the paint! Our pre class waiting area will be by the bar UPSTAIRS at Norse while the class tables are being set up downstairs. Seating is assigned and we will call everyone down to the painting classroom as soon as we are ready for you. Painting will begin promptly once everyone is seated around 6:00/6:15pm. Reservations are required because classes do fill up quickly. With your safety in mind, classes are kept small with extremely limited seating that is spaced apart. Upon entry, please sanitize with the hand sanitizer. For your safety and the safety of others, masks are also recommended during this event for those who are not yet fully vaccinated.

Class will be held on the lower level of Norse brewing.

*single level handicap access is available around the back of the building through the black door near the loading ramp (please e-mail Amanda to request a low table if needed) Norse has hightop tables with bar height chairs for our classes. Special request required for a standard height 6' table to be set up that will be lower.

If you are part of a group that is registering individually, be sure to note who you wish to sit with when you register. Please keep in mind prices are per seat. If your group is registering individually and the class sells out there is no guarantee late sign ups can be squeezed in.

This is a class geared towards adults and is recommended for ages 16+

Cancellation Policy

*Cancellation of seats one week before class you will receive a credit for seats in a future class.*

*Cancellation 24 hours before the event receives no refund or credit*

*If the class cancels due to inclement weather, not enough sign ups, or any other unplanned circumstances you will receive a notification ASAP and have the option of a full refund or credit for a future class.
